The University of Cambodia has adopted the American system of credits, which are indicators for the number of hours per term a student is expected to be physically in a class during a term. Every class at UC accounts for three credits each, and students must accumulate a certain number of credits in order to graduate. For Associate’s degrees, students must reach 75 credits; for Bachelor’s degrees, the total amounts to 135 credits. Master’s degrees require 54 credits, while Doctoral degrees need 60 credits for completion.
The University of Cambodia warmly welcomes transfer students and works to transfer credits from other universities. Deans and Associate Deans will meet both transfer and interested students to discuss their individual cases and determine how many credits they can transfer, based on the course content, hours taught, and other requirements of the university. If you have more questions, please contact the individual college to which you are applying to or send an email to info@uc.edu.kh
